Thank you for choosing your Norwich Family YMCA! Our childcare programs provide a safe, welcoming, and caring environment for your child(ren). Children will have the opportunity to engage in developmentally appropriate activities that are designed to enhance social and physical development. All of our school age childcare programs are licensed and registered through the Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS). Our youth programs promote inclusivity, acceptance, and the YMCA core values of respect, caring, honesty and responsibility.
Programs:
Early Morning Program
This programs offers a welcoming place for children to start their day.
After School Programs
This program offers a safe place for children to spend their afternoons having fun with friends. We offer a heathy snack each afternoon
Fun Club Program
This is our Full Day School Age Childcare Program. On Fun Club days we have themed crafts and activities, swimming, and time to play in the Kids Gym and Main Gym. Two snacks are provided daily. Participants should bring a lunch, swim suit, towel, and socks for the kids gym.
Early Release Days
This program is a shortened version of our Fun Club Program for when there is a half day of school.
Hours of Operation:
Before School Program: 6:30AM – Bus Pick Up
After School Programs: School Dismissal – 5:30PM
Fun Club Program: 6:30AM – 5:30PM
Early Release Days: School Dismissal – 5:30PM
A YMCA Membership is a great way to save on childcare and other program costs! If you are planning to obtain a YMCA membership for your child, or a family membership, make sure to do so before registering for a childcare program to ensure that you are charged appropriately. This only applies to programs at the YMCA location.
Be sure to update your child’s registration information if it has been saved from a previous program. For your child’s safety we need correct and up to date emergency information.

Holy Family After School Program
