2026 NORWICH YMCA 3-4 yr. Old Outdoor Soccer

REGISTRATION INFORMATION:

 Individuals can register until September 6

   The fee is ($40.00) dollars per member, and ($75.00) dollars per non-member.

 OUTDOOR SOCCER INFORMATION:

 This program is for boys and girls ages Three and Four. 

 This class is instructional only.

 The basic fundamentals of Soccer will be taught:

(Passing, Kicking, Trapping, Throw-ins, Positions, Teamwork, Sportsmanship and the importance of having fun). 

 Dates of play will be on  Sept 15, 22, 29   October 6, 20, 27

Practice times will be from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. at Gibson. There will only be one practice per week, with no scheduled games, except for scrimmage games.

 The season will last 6 weeks.

2026 NORWICH YMCA FIVE/SIX YEAR OLD OUTDOOR SOCCER

The fee is ($40.00) dollars per member.

           This program is for boys and girls ages five and six,

            This class is instructional only.

            The basic fundamentals of soccer will be taught

            (Passing, dribbling, shooting, basic rules, fair play, teamwork,

            Sportsmanship, and the importance of having fun). 

 Dates of play will be September 17,24 October  8, 15, 22, 29

 Practice times will be from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. at Gibson. There will only be one practice per week, with no scheduled games, except for scrimmage games.

 The season will last 6 weeks.  Thus concluding on Tuesday Oct 29

Chenango Fall Recreational Soccer program is county wide and takes place from late August through the end of October. Each community is responsible for registering their athletes and soliciting coaches.   Communities participating in this program are:  Norwich, Oxford, Unadilla Valley, Gilbertsville, Bainbridge, Sidney, Greene, Otselic Valley and Sherburne.

Teams will play against the same aged teams from neighboring communities with an expectation equal games will be played at home and away during the season.   Practices will occur in the teams hometown during the season.

Coaches will contact players as to when practices will begin.

Depending on space, late signups may not be accommodated.
